Patricia “Lynn” Beck

Patricia “Lynn” Beck, 49, passed away, Wednesday October 5, 2011. She was born December 7, 1961 in Craven County, NC. Lynn was a volunteer for the Red Cross and Nash County Animal Friends. She had a passion for rescuing and placing animals that needed homes. She dedicated herself to caring for her son Michael after his injury in Baghdad, Iraq in April 2008. Lynn was devoted to her children and grandchildren. Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Lewis W. Beasley, maternal grandparents, Fletcher and Susie Waters.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Laura W. Beasley of Rocky Mount, one daughter, Jennifer Beck and fiancé Kelly Baker of Rocky Mount, one son, Michael Beck of Rocky Mount, two grandchildren Kaley and Landon Baker, two sisters, Susan Butler and husband Vernon of Kernersville, NC, Kathryn Rivenbark of Rocky Mount one brother, Ray Beasley and wife June of Colington, NC,.

Family will receive friends from 4:00-5:00PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home, Sunday October 9, 2011. Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made Nash County Animals Friends at PO Box 1031 Nashville, NC 27856 in honor of Lynn Beck.

Michael I was so sorry to learn of your mom's passing. I have been trying to catch up with you. Please know you remain in our prayers with love and gratitude and now we will add your sorrow to it.
