Shirley Hayes Brown, 75 died Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at her home.  She was born November 23, 1936 in Nash County, daughter of the late Otis and Katherine Hill Hayes.She is survived by her husband, George Earl Brown, granddaughter, Kim Brown; grandson, Andrew Brown; great grandchild Kaylee Jordan.Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Bogle officiating.  Burial will be at Forest Hills Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until 2:00 PM Saturday.
