Frederick Stanley Carnright, Jr.

      Frederick Stanley Carnright, Jr., 61, passed away, Sunday, June 26, 2011. He was born November 27, 1949 in Niskayuna, NY. Frederick loved his family and Boy Scouts where he was very active over 50 years. He served as assistant district commissioner with the Scouts. He is the son of Frederick S. and Frances Carnright of Norfolk, Virginia.

    In addition to his parents, he leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 21 years, Patricia Mitchell Carnright, one son, Jonathan Garfi and wife Sara of Walstonburg, two daughters, Christi Allen and husband Jimmy of Yucca, California, Carolyn Turner of Bailey, NC, two sisters, Lucy Landen and husband Tommy of Manson, NC, Martha Kilmer and husband John of Virginia Beach, Virginia, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

    Memorial Service will be Friday, July 1, 2011 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home of Nashville.

   In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Boy Scouts of America at 717 Hope Mills Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304-2221 or Friends of Hospice of Nash General at 2460 Curtis Ellis Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.

Pattie, I am so sorry to see Stan's obituary. I can not tell you how sorry I am for your loss.I want to tell you what a good job you did caring for Stan, you made the difference in the quality and comfort he had at the end of life. stan was a good man he help me on a lot of scout trips and outtings.he will be missed.
