Mavis Bulluck Collins

Mavis Bulluck Collins, 92, passed away, Saturday, July 23, 2011. She was born February 21, 1919 in Nash County. Mavis was the daughter of the late James and Flossie Ward Bulluck. She was a lifetime member of Second Presbyterian Church until it closed. Mavis then joined First Christian Church. She loved collecting dolls and sewing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Franklin Collins and a sister, Martha Flye.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Judy Collins Lindsey of Nashville, Amy Viverette and husband Ricky of Rocky Mount, two grandchildren, David Sutton and wife Laura, Katherine Boswell, four great- grandchildren, David and Maggie Sutton, Tyler and Kaitlin Boswell, a very special friend, June Radford.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Rev. Kathy Jo Mitchell officiating. Visitation will follow after the service.

So sorry to learn of your mother's passing. She was such a good friend to our mother, Dorothy Buffaloe, when they lived at Woods at Bevenue. Mama passed in April; I know they are gathered in Heaven now. Please know what a special person your mom was. Condolences to you all.
