                                                                                              Jason Patrick Evans

 

Jason Patrick Evans, 29, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2011.  He was born December 12, 1981 in Wilson County son of William and Joan Woodard Evans.  Jason was a student at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest and had plans to go into international missions.  He loved his wife and children and enjoyed fishing.

 

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Jordan Dixon Evans, sons, Taylor Evans and Caleb Evans, and a daughter, Reese Evans all of the home; brothers, Larry Wayne Evans and Eddie Morgan both of Spring Hope and Jeff Morgan of Nashville.

 

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, October 27, 2011 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Wilson with the Rev. Steve Stephenson and Rev. John Woodard officiating.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park in Wilson.  The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 to 8:30 PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home, Nashville, and other times at the home of his parents, 2227 Frazier Road, Spring Hope.

Jordan, my prayers continue for God to continue giving you the strength to get through this storm. Jason is no longer in pain and with our heavenly father as you know.  I know you will miss him horribly in the days to come.  However, when you look at your children you are looking at a part of him. When I was with our daughter, Aimee Norman at Duke, I met you.  I am so sorry to learn that Jason lost his eartly battle with cancer.  Please know that you and your children are in my prayers and thoughts.  May God give you peace, comfort and joy as you keep Jason alive in your heart and in the lives of your children.  God Bless!  Sandy
