Linda Lou Ezzell- Send Condolences

Linda Lou Ezzell

        Linda Lou Ezzell, 66, passed away on Thursday September 1, 2011.She was born December 23, 1944 in Edgecombe County. Linda was the daughter of the late David Paul and Meta Proctor Ezzell. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ann Ezzell Coley.

      She is survived by two children, Scott Vester and Adrienne Vester both of  Battleboro, two grandchildren, two brothers, David Ezzell Jr. and Frank Ezzell  of Rocky Mount.  She also was survived by a dear friend “Walt” who stayed by her side to the very end.  And her best friend…her dog….”Happy”.

       A private memorial service was held September 06, 2011 with the immediate family, at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Moss officiating.

 Adrienne and Scott, I was very sorry to read about the death of your mother, Linda.  I thought a lot of her and often wondered how she was doing.   She will be missed.  Love,

David and family, I met and got to know Linda when I was in Spring Hope back in the late 90's. She had a bodacious sense of humor, and when I would get down in the dumps, I would go to her job and just talk to her for awhile. She never failed to cheer me up even when she didn't feel too good. I know she will be missed not only by family, but for those who were lucky enopugh to get to meet her just for a short time.
