Ardell Farmer

      William “Ardell” Farmer, 83, passed away Thursday January 26, 2012. He was born July 25, 1928 in Wilson County to the late Joshua Lee and Mary Belle Jenkins Farmer. Ardell was preceded in death by a sister, Susie Bulluck and a step-son, Jeffery Bottoms,

     He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 48 years Madie Whitehead Farmer, two step-daughters; Joanne B. Lewis and husband Jimmy of Nashville, Debra B. Ross and husband Tim of Port Angeles WA., one brother, Earl Farmer and wife Emma Jean of Bailey, brother-in-law, Robert H. Bulluck of Elm City, two sisters; Mabel F. Baker of Greenville and Rebecca F. Joyner and husband Lauris of Nashville, four grandchildren; Lindsey and Micha Ross, Tracy Whitten and Diane Lewis, two great-grandchildren.

     Visitation will be Sunday January 29, 2012 from 1:30-300PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home and other times at the home of Lauris and Rebecca Joyner at 5858 Old Bailey HWY Nashville, NC 27856. Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home at 3:00PM with the Rev. Ron Hawley officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove in Elm City.
