Jackie F. Grimes, 47, passed away, Thursday, June 16, 2011. She was born May 23, 1964 in Nash County. Jackie was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Temple.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Martha Woodruff Temple of Sharspburg, one daughter, Kristy Lynn Shaw Norris of Big Stone Gap, VA., two brothers, Randy Temple and wife Sandy and Ricky Temple of Sharpsburg, two sisters, Vickie Tharrington of Nashville, Nancy Temple and life partner Pam Barfield of Greenville, niece, Betty Jo Evans and husband Horace of Sharpsburg, nephews, Randy and Patrick Tharrington of Nashville, great niece, Angel Grace Evans of Sharpsburg.

Memorial Service will be Monday, June 20, 2011 at 7:00PM in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home of Nashville with the Rev. Daniel Moss officiating. Visitation will follow after the service.

I was a lucky person to have you as my Mother. You are the best person and done everything to have a great life for us. I will miss you more then any words can say. I hope that one day I can be half the mom that you were to me. Thanks for being there for me and teaching me right from wrong and for just being my BEST FRIEND....I know now that you are in a better place and seeing grandpa again makes it just a wonderful thing to know. You will always be in my heart and on my mind. I LOVE you always and forever.
