William Harper - Send Condolences

William Harper

William “Dean” Harper, 49, passed away, Tuesday, August 23, 2011. He was born October 11, 1961 in Nash County.  He was the son of the late Rufus and Lillie Mae Harper. Dean was a blessing to everyone he met. He was a hard-working, dedicated, and proud man. He cherished his family and spent his life loving and protecting them. He was a devoted husband, brother, nephew, and uncle. He loved and trusted God. His faith enabled him to face a terrible disease with dignity. His bravery was an inspiration to all who walked this journey with him. He will be missed greatly. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Jackie Harper and Bonnie Bonnie Hawkins.

       Dean leaves behind, his loving wife, Pamela A. Harper, one brother, Albert Harper, two sisters, Judy Harper and Mary Hawkins, two uncles, Robert and Earl Harper, three nephews, Curt Hawkins, Taylor Anderson and Justus Curtis, four nieces, Pamela and Danielle Hawkins, Ashley Anderson and Bryson Curtis, four great-nieces, Hailey and Brittany Anderson, Cadence Hawkins and Jaylen Knight.

     Visitation will be Friday, August 26, 2011 from 7:00-8:30 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Scott and Rev. Andy Harper officiating. Burial will follow at Harper Family Cemetery with the Rev. Raymond Coley officiating.
