Margaret Griffin Hill

 

Margaret Griffin Hill, 65, passed away at her home on Tuesday January 10, 2012. She was born July 5, 1946 in Beaufort County, NC. She was the daughter of the late, William Joseph and Tillie Griffin. Margaret was a pianist for Southside Baptist Church. She was a loving Mother, Sister and Grandmother.She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, William Robert Hill and Wife Lisa of Red Oak, her daughter, Kim Reams and husband Jerry of Rocky Mount, five grandchildren, Hannah Reams, Sarah Reams, Anna and Jacob Hill, Grace Reams, two sisters, Ginny Huntley and husband Dennis of Shelby, NC, Paula England and husband Gerald of Greenville.Visitation will be Friday January 13, 2012 from 12:30-2:30PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Harry Fowler and Rev. Jeremy Lyon officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery of Nashville.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church @ 2616 South Church Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27803.

Kim, Bobby and all the rest of the family you have my prayers and deepest sympathy.  She was a wonderful person and a wonderful organ and piano player.  I thank the Lord for the oportunity to have played with her.
