James Boydd Baker

James Boydd Baker, 43, passed away, Friday August 05, 2011. He was born April 17, 1968 in Nash County. James is preceded in death by his father James Merle Baker, maternal grandparents Billie Boyd and Starr Murray House, and paternal grandparents James Moses and Pattie Dozier Baker. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Burleson, TX. James was a graduate of Fork Union Military Academy.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Tracy Baker of 21 years of Burleson, TX; mother Cynthia House Baker of Littleton, NC; son James Brandon Baker of Burleson, TX; daughter Dakota Jean Baker of Burleson, TX; sister Patti Starr House of Portsmouth and husband Timothy Andrew House Portsmouth, VA; nephew Timothy Andrew House Jr.; and a large extended family.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 09, 2011 from 7:00-8:30 pm at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Cornerstone Funeral with Rev. Michael Coggin officiating. The burial will follow at Dozier Oaks Family Cemetery in Whitakers, NC. Flowers are accepted or a contribution to American Cancer or American Heart can be made.
We are praying for ya'll to have comfort and peace now and in the days ahead. You are not alone. We love ya'll.
