Joseph Wellington Raynor

      Joseph Wellington Raynor, 76, passed away, Saturday, August 06, 2011.  He was born March 19, 1935 in Nash County to the late Charlie James and Lillian Ramsey Raynor.  Joseph was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  He was a local restaurant owner in both Nashville and Rocky Mount.   

     He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 53 years Frances Drake Raynor; his daughter Pamela Raynor Eillis and husband David of Nashville, NC; four sisters, Martha Raynor Price and husband Ronald of Washington, NC, Joyce Savage of Rocky Mount, NC, Minnie Compton and husband John R. of Newport, NC, Debra Taylor and husband Bob of Nashville, NC; three grandchildren, Jessica Ellis Boyd and husband Larry, Justin David Ellis and wife Laura, and Jade Marie Ellis; four great grandchildren, Larry Boyd III, Carson Boyd, Caleb Boyd, and Austin Garris.  

       Funeral Service will be held at Monday, August 8, 2011 at 3:00 pm with visitation starting at 2:00 pm at Cornerstone Funeral Home.  The burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.  Flowers are accepted or a contribution to the family can be made.
