Dorothy Leonard Lucas

Dorothy Leonard Lucas, 60, passed away, Friday November 18, 2011. She was born October 10, 1951 in Nash County. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Daniel Joseph and Dolly Matthews Leonard. She worked for Nash County Social Service for 38 years.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 28 years, Donald G. Lucas, one brother, Steve Leonard of Hollister, her pug, that she loved dearly, Buster.

Visitation will be Saturday November 19, 2011 from 7:00-8:30PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Sunday November 20, 2011 at 2:00PM at Matthews Family Cemetery of Momeyer with the Rev. Carleton McKita officiating.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Elizabeth Davis and Joan Colbert.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Friends of Hospice of Nash at 2460 Curtis Ellis Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. We have all been blessed for having known Dot.
