Patricia Lynn Barbour Newsome

 Patricia Lynne Barbour Newsome, 65, passed away Friday, September 23, 2011 surrounded by her husband and children.  She was born March 17 1946 in Johnston County daughter of the late Milford Lee and Irene Harrell Lewis.

She is survived by her husband Marvin Newsome; sons Dana Shane Barbour and his wife Penny and Shawn Lamar Barbour and his wife Sherrie all of Nashville and Jamie Marse Barbour and wife Tonya of Dunn; daughters Susan Lynne Murray and Jackie Barbour Royster both of Rocky Mount; brother Milford Lee (Butch) Lewis, Jr. of Nashville; thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 7:00 PM Monday, September 26, 2011 at Cornerstone Funeral Home, Nashville with the Rev. Daniel Moss officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

Pat will be missed a whole lot, She was the most out going white women I ever Knew. I ued to talk to her for hours. I'm at peace now because she walks with the angels now, May God bless her soul.
