Keith Michael Edwards

Keith Michael Edwards left us on May 4, 2011 surrounded by his family at St. Alexis Hospital in Bismarck, North Dakota. He was formerly of North Carolina and moved to Bismarck with his daughter due to health problems. He was born August 2, 1953 to the late James A. and Elizabeth Edwards and led an adventurous life up to the end. He never gave up on his family or friends and fought to the end. Keith was a simple man with simple pleasures; he loved fishing, working with his hands and just being there for his friends. He was an A-1 mechanic and welder and was blessed with two children; a daughter, Donna Kay Eason and husband Henry Bash, Sr., and a son Brian Keith Edwards, both of North Dakota; three grandsons, Adam M. Eason and Jesse R. Eason both of Bismarck, ND and Brent M. Eason of Florida.

In addition to his children and grandchildren he is survived by brothers, Phillip A. Edwards of Nashville, NC, Laverne K. Edwards and wife Angie of Battleboro, NC sister, Deloris Burnette, of Spring Hope, NC, ex wife and dear friend, Kay Edwards of Bismarck, ND.

Keith was preceded in death by a brother, James C. Edwards, brother in law, Bobby Burnette and sister in law, Robin Edwards.

Keith, this is not good bye—we will see you later—fishing in heaven like you did here in North Dakota with Henry for wall eye. You are in our hearts forever.

Memorial Service will be Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 4:00PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home of Nashville, NC.
