Wilbert Joseph Vick

      Wilbert Joseph Vick, 85, passed away, Sunday, May 8, 2011. He was the son of the late, Joseph and Isadore Coggin Vick. Wilbert was born September 29, 1925 in Nash County. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Wilbert loved going to the lake and being outdoors.

      He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 59 years,  Sylvia Smith Vick, one son, Joseph Vick and wife Billie Jean of Nashville, one daughter, Gail Ivey and husband Robert of Spring Hope, one brother, J.T. Vick and wife Mollie of Nashville, five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

    Visitation will be Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 7:00-8:30PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

    Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of choice.

you all kknow how much he has meant to me. no could ask for a better brother in-law.He was like a brother,father all rolled into one. my dear sister knows what I mean.I loved both of you dearly>
