Grover Homer Prince

Grover Homer Prince, 83, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday November 20, 2011. He was born October 16, 1928 in Columbus County. Grover was the son of the late Homer and Fannie Bell Harper Prince. He was a member of Evangel Christian Fellowship for many years.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 62 years, Alma Joyner Prince, two sons, Gene Prince and wife Patty of Nashville, Tommy Prince and wife Cindy of Rocky Mount, two daughters, Jeanette Price of Rocky Mount, Joan Adams and husband Buddy of Rocky Mount, one brother, James Prince and wife Vally, four sisters, Mary Elum and husband H.L., Pearl Glover, Dot Lane and husband Joe, Carol Clark and husband Jimmy, eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday from 5:30-7:00PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 7:00PM in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Rev. Vickie Akers and Rev. Daniel Moss officiating. Committal service will be Tuesday November 22, 2011 at 11:00AM at Oakdale Cemetery of Spring Hope.

We love you Pa. We take solace in the fact that you are now in a better place. Rest in Peace.
