Ruby Cooper Rose, 93, went to her heavenly home Monday, November 7, 2011.
She was born in Nash County on July 12, 1918 first daughter of the late Z. D. and Eula Mosley Cooper.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Hadie C. Rose and son Eric Jerome Rose, who are in heaven.  She has brothers and sisters who are also in heaven, and a very special sister, Verta C. Parker who took special care of Ruby until she herself was becoming ill and went to heaven August 30, 2011.

Left to cherish her memory are granddaughter Kimberly Sue Saylor and husband Jeff and grandson Ryan all of Goldsboro. Sister Sevada (Sue) Cooper of Nashville and Dorothy Cooley of Elm City; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Wood officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 PM Wednesday night at the funeral home, burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, Nashville.
