Ricky Vance Webb “Our Cowboy”

 

      Ricky Vance “Our Cowboy “Webb, 63, passed away, Saturday, August 27, 2011. He was born July 25, 1948 in Riverside California. “Our Cowboy” was the son of the late Wilbur and Mae Longuevan Webb. He enjoyed riding horses, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him.

     He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of forty years, Patricia “Patty” Newman Webb, one son, Ricky Weston Webb and wife Sandy of Nashville, one brother, Rocky Webb of Wilson, three sisters, Lynette Tant of Bailey, Emily Turner of California, Rita Cobb and husband Johnnie “Al”, four grandchildren, Cody, Danielle, Blake and Erica Webb.

     Visitation will be Thursday, September 1, 2011 from 7:00-8:30PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home of Nashville. Memorial Service will be Sunday, September 11, 2011 at 2:00PM at the home at 2466 Pine Tree Lane, Nashville, NC 27856.

      In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family of Ricky Webb in care of Patty Webb.

 

My dear little sister Patty and son Weston how very blessed I was to have had Ricky as not just a brotherinlaw but as a best friend no matter what the reason he was a kindered soul with an open mind and loving soul. Thank you for sharing him with us, life will never be the same with out him but as we know he and his good friends Arthur and Benny are now plotting on how to enjoy the next life until we all meet again. Aunt Patty we are so sorry that this has happened.  Words do an injustice in explaining how much we will miss Uncle Ricky. He was loved so much and will always remain very much alive in our memories.
