Danny Ray Whitley

      Danny Ray Whitley, 55, passed away Saturday November 12, 2011. He was born March 23, 1956 in Edgecombe County. Danny was the son of the late Julian and Mildred Ezzelle Whitley. He loved his family and as long as his health would allow him, he enjoyed fishing and cooking on the grill.

     He leaves to cherish his memory, mother of his children, Emmaline Griffin of Teachey, NC, two sons, Danny Lee Whitley and wife Kimberly, John Whitley and wife Jessica, all of Teachey, NC, two brothers, Wayne Whitley and wife Pattie of Memphis, TN, Donnie Whitley and wife Darla of Millington, TN, one sister, Gail Moore and husband Randy of LaGrange, NC, Grandchild, Zoey Beth Whitley.

    Funeral Service will be Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 7:00PM in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Moss officiating. Visitation will follow after the service.

     In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Whitley family.
