Job Description:

A funeral assistant performs many duties. Some of the duties include removals(daytime/nighttime), assisting with services(parking cars, greeting guest), washing cars, putting up tents, cleaning the facilities(vacuuming, dusting, etc.), running errands. answering phones and many other duties as needed. Must be professional in appearance (suit/tie), have a caring and positive attitude. Assistant must have compassion for grieving families, be punctual and professional at all times and be willing to help in all areas as needed by the directors.

 This position requires lots of standing and heavy lifting at times. Hours will vary and will include day, evening and nighttime hours. Must have a clean driving record.

Funeral Service Licensee

Job Description:

This position is for a full-time funeral director/embalmer. Requires a lot of standing, heavy lifting at times. Hours will vary and will include being on call various nights and weekends. Must be professional on appearance (Suit/Tie), have a caring and positive attitude, must have compassion for grieving families, be punctual and professional at all times and be willing to help in all areas as needed by the manager.  This position also includes helping the staff to keep the facilities clean at all times(general housekeeping duties). Must be licensed to practice funeral directing/embalming in North Carolina.
