    Justina Moody Gaylor

    February 24, 1964 - July 18, 2021

    Justina Moody Gaylor was born on February 24, 1964 in Nash County, NC to the late James Moody and Ruth Chapman. She departed life to be with God on July 18, 2021. Justina accepted Christ at an early age and joined Philadelphia Baptist Church in Nashville NC. Justina met and married Charles Gaylor her high school sweetheart in March 1988. From this union she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl Charlezette Gaylor Calhoun on March 17, 1990. Justina was a graduate of Northern Nash High School class of 1983. She then attended Saint Augustine’s University in Raleigh NC where she received her bachelor’s degree. After receiving her degree, she gained employment in the medical field performing administrative duties. Justina stepped out on faith and become owner and operator of JMG Medical Billing in 2002. Justina was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Chapman, her father James Moody, her grandmother Mary Moody, her sister Karen Moody, her sister in-law Landa Moore and her father in-law Charlie Gaylor. Justina leaves to cherish her memories her husband Charles Gaylor of Nashville NC; her daughter Charlezette Gaylor Calhoun (Kevin Calhoun) of Nashville NC; her grandchildren Jamil Gaylor, Kayleigh Calhoun, and Kevin Calhoun Jr.; her mother in law Melba Gaylor of Nashville, NC; her brother Lewis Moody of Spring Hope NC; her sister Mary Hilliard of Nashville NC; her sister in laws Felicia Gaylor of Nashville NC and Cathy Adams of Chesterfield Va; her brother in laws Don Gaylor of Greenville NC and Tony Gaylor of Tarboro NC; her special nieces Brianna Gaylor of Rocky Mount NC; Jokita Ricks of Nashville NC; and Iva Moody of Rocky Mount NC; her nephews Anthony Moody of Nashville Nc; Clifton Moody of Raleigh NC; Ivan Moody of Greensboro NC; Ky’Ionn Gaylor of Tarboro NC; Patrick Moody of Spring Hope NC, Jamar Moody of Spring Hope NC, Carl Moody of Spring Hope NC and Scottie Hilliard of Nashville NC. As well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A visitation with family and friends will be held from 11:00am - 12:45pm on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with service following at 1:00pm. Burial will follow the service in Forest Hill Cemetery.
