Larry Glenn Denton, 74, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021. He was born September 24, 1947 in Nash County to the late Albert and Mary Marks Denton. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by sister-in-laws Betty and Wanda Denton. Larry loved ACC Basketball, wrestling, reading western books, and spending time with his dogs. Larry grew up and lived most of his life in the Red Oak community. He leaves to cherish his memory brothers Wayne and Durwood Denton; nephew Wayne Jr.; nieces Anna, Paula, and Katherine. A graveside service will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 at 2:00PM, Forest Hill Cemetery.
