Margaret Ardessa Williams Moore

Margaret Ardessa Williams Moore, of Rocky Mount, age 89, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022. Born in Nash County, NC on January 28, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Lonnie Cromwell and Emma Viverette Williams. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edwards Bruce Moore and longtime friend Mitchell Douglas Saleeby. She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Moore Baker (William Gillis) of Nashville, NC. Margaret was a proud member of the US Air Force. She also worked for the telephone company until her daughter Kim was born. She decided to be a stay-at-home mom. She was a gentle soul & loved by all that knew her. A special thanks to all of the staff at Autumn Care who had a hand in taking care of “Miss Margaret”, also thanks to Tess Johnson and family for taking care of “Miss Margaret” before she went to Autumn Care. In Lieu of flowers, please give to an organization of your choice. A graveside service will be held Friday, January 21, 2022 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park at 11:00AM with the Rev. Randy Davis officiating.
