Marvin Earl Barnes, 62, went to be with the Lord July 30, 2021. He was born in Nash County July 21, 1959. Marvin loved his family and his Lord. Marvin also loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Marvin leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Cindy Barnes, of 25 years; brothers, E.J. Barnes Jr. (Tina), Charles Ray Barnes (Margaret), and Donald Ray Barnes (Mary); and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 7:00 PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Cornerstone Funeral Home is honored to be caring for the Barnes family.
