Kenneth E Kinsey, Sr. Obituary 1946 – 2025 Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1946, Ken Kinsey, a man of unwavering faith and quiet strength, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025, at the age of 78. Known to many as “Peachy,” Ken was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, son-in-law, and friend whose life was defined by service, hard work, and love for his family, church, and country. Ken shared a lifetime of love and partnership with his wife Rosanne, “Posy.” Together, they built a family rooted in faith and support. As a father, Ken nurtured and encouraged his children, always offering quiet guidance and unwavering love. As a grandfather, he never missed an opportunity to attend games, lend a helping hand with home projects, and cheer on his grandchildren in their pursuits. Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1946, Ken served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. His sense of duty and selflessness extended far beyond his service, shaping his character and the way he lived his life. Ken was a man of many talents and endless ingenuity. After starting his career as a skilled tool and die maker right out of the Army, he continued to demonstrate his resourcefulness and craftsmanship his entire life.. Handy and creative, Ken had the remarkable ability to build and create, including a unique and cherished dome home “KinDome.” His passion for craftsmanship extended into every aspect of his life. He took great pride in maintaining his property and contributing to the upkeep of the church. Whether riding his John Deere tractor, cutting wood, mowing the grass, painting, doing electrical work, laying tile, or tackling countless other projects, Ken approached each task with skill and dedication. Ken’s life was a testament to the power of service. Within his church, he took care of widows, helped to maintain the church property, and built countless items over the years to help improve the lives of others. His humble acts of kindness were never done for recognition but out of a deep sense of compassion and commitment to his faith. He loved playing and watching football and wrestling, sports that brought him great joy, and he found peace in the simple, fulfilling work of maintaining his property. Whether through small gestures or grand projects, Ken’s life was a mosaic of love, care, and service to others. His most favorite thing in the world was to have his whole family together in the KinDome, eating, laughing, talking, playing games, and just generally being together.. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, William Kinsey Sr. and Marian R. Miller Kinsey; his siblings, William Kinsey Jr. and Barbara Kinsey Vincent. He is survived by his loving wife, Rosanne S. Kinsey; his children, Kenny Kinsey (Kella), Polly Anna Watson (James), and Katie Walston (Wally); and his cherished grandchildren, Ellen R. Kinsey, Scott D. Kinsey, Nathan A. Kinsey, and Samuel J. Watson. Ken is also survived by his siblings, Richard D. Kinsey (Kathy), Donna J. Parker, and Shirley L. Merritt. A celebration of Ken’s life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Englewood Assembly of God. Family visitation at 1:00pm, followed by a celebration at 2:00pm, officiated by Pastor Gerry Blood. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the building fund at Englewood Assembly of God. Ken Kinsey’s legacy is one of humility, love, and devotion—a life well-lived in service to God, family, and community. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
