Michael Raymond Garcia Sr.

Michael “Mike” Raymond Garcia, Sr. 60 passed away on December 27th, 2020 surrounded by his treasured children. He was born in Yuma, Arizona to parents Raymond and Faye Garcia on September 02, 1960. Those left to treasure his memories are his beloved son, Michael R. Garcia, Jr. and cherished daughters Michaela Garcia (Anthony Friday), Rachel Garcia (Ray Jenkins), Michelle Boone and husband Brandon Boone, and Jessica Gentzler and husband Travis Gentzler; grandchildren Ryland and Chloe Jenkins, Olivia Gentzler, Nathan Boone, Allyson Martin, Reese Boone; brothers Gary Anderson and wife Linda, Greg Garcia and wife Oralia, Robert Garcia and wife Christy, Keith Garcia and wife Toyi, Eric Garcia; sister Sabrina Jernigan along with many beloved nieces, nephews, family and friends. If you asked a hundred people who Mike was, they’d all tell you he was the strongest man in the world and indeed he was. He enjoyed many things in his life. Among those things were his love of driving semi-trucks, bowling, football, country music but above all else he loved his family! Mike was a very prideful man. He was honest to his core, you never had to worry about whether or not he liked you because he always made sure you knew how he felt or what he thought. If you were mad with him there was no limit to what he would do to right his wrong. He had a sense of humor like no other and loved to make his children laugh. He was a wonderful father always putting his children first and setting no limits to what he would do for them. He loved to talk about his children, if you knew Mike you knew everyone of their names as he was proud of each one. Mike knew no stranger, it did not matter where he was, he could strike up a conversation with anyone. He was born a protector with superhero like strength. He was always quick to stand up for what he believed in and to defend his family. He will truly be missed by so many who loved him. We know heaven is certainly shining a lot brighter with him as an angel. Services will be held at a later date. I Never Left You I watch you every day, I am always very near. I know deep in your heart, you realize I am here. I watch you while you sleep, in your bed at home. I hear you when you speak to me, when you are on your own. You cannot understand the reason why I’ve gone. But I will never leave you I am there to keep you strong. Talk to me, I hear you, though you may not see. We share an unbroken bond that will always be. Death will not keep us apart, for our love is forever. Just remember me in your heart, and one day we will be together. Live your life and live it full, don’t waste a single day. Remember I am always with you every step of the way.
